the ZERO point adventure

 Relativity, Perspective, and Perception

 The following questions may seem bizarre, but they are necessary.  Is the universe an illusion?  Is our existence real?  What is reality?  Strange questions to be sure and yet the answers would depend on ones point of view.  For example; how would space and time appear from the viewpoint a photon?  If you were a photon, traveling towards the Earth from some distant star, the universe would shrink to a singular point before you, and time would stop.  No matter the distance to Earth, from the photons point of view, the trip would be instantaneous.  As far as the photon is concerned, there is no space and no time.

From our human point of view, a photon traveling from the Andromeda galaxy would take two million years to travel the distance.  But from the photons point of view, the journey of two million light years would be instantaneous.  From our human perspective, this comparison may appear to be a little freakish and yet these opposing perspective are undeniable facts.

This relative perception of space-time depends on who is making the observation.  From our finite material point of view, there are boundaries, speed limits, and time, which define our existence in this expanse of creation (universe).  From the perspective of light, at all frequencies and wavelengths, space and time do not exist.  From our human perspective, a beam of light traveling from a galaxy at the edge of the visual universe would travel some fourteen billion years before reaching the Earth.  But from the perspective of the beam of light, the trip would be instantaneous.

According to ancient texts, it was God who said, “Let there be light.”  The light from that first day would have enabled humankind (had we existed) to peer across the void, no matter the distance, to visualize an object, a planet, or a star as seen from God’s prospective.  In that Light, there was no time delay or relative perception, only the unbridled Light of the Living, unfettered by time and space.  The unbridled Light of the Living; what is that?

Physicists have pondered many questions concerning the early universe.  If the universe is 14.5 billion years old, and all of this came from some Big Bang, how did the visual universe expand so that we can view galaxies at the edge of the visual universe, some 14 billion light years away?  From our prospective, the light from those distant galaxies takes 14 billion years to arrive here on Earth.  But how did the galaxies get out there so fast (some 14 Billion light years) to transmit the light back to Earth?  Was matter in the early universe immune to the laws of modern physics?  Did matter not have to obey the universal speed limit as imposed upon humankind?  If this galactic matter did travel at some unimaginable velocity to appear some 14 Billion light years from Earth, what happened to all of that velocity?

As humans, our perceptions are limited by our perspective.  These human limitations are driving us to ponder, to investigate, and to experiment.  In the grand scheme of space-time, the science community has detected two types of light.  The light that we all know, which is bound to the speed limits of space-time and another light, an unseen light, which is not bound to the laws of space-time.  All known forms of electromagnetic radiation, no matter the frequency or wavelength are in fact light.  However, a recently discovered light, Zero Point Field Energy, which permeates all of creation, seems to appear out of nowhere and this light is everywhere.  Quantum particles appear from nowhere to emit a small amount of electromagnetic radiation (light).  Sometimes the particles remain and sometimes they pop out of existence.  As strange as this is, these quantum particles seem to be receiving information (instructions) as to how to behave when being observed.  Some of these particles appear to be in two places at the same time.  There is much more to the story, but this bizarre flaunting of the laws of physics has caused many physicists to realize that there is an unseen communication going on throughout the universe.  Immune to distance and time, this information seems to come from a Living Light, which controls all of creation.

I wish to express that my feeble attempts to explain these perspectives are woven into the Zero Point Adventure.   These writings are much more than a fictional narrative.  I view the adventure as a metaphor to describe a literal reality that exists, though realized by only a few.  As my early research expanded, the questions and answers often became blurred, but there were obvious questions that came to mind.  Is the matter of our universe an illusion?  Is the universe drifting in a sea of Living Light?  Is there intelligence at work to fold portions this light into matter?  The answers to these questions might boggle the mind.  Nevertheless, the truth of a Living Universe is undeniable.

While researching Zero Point Field Energy for my adventure series, my life was changed.  In fact, as I look back over the years, every hour of every day, throughout my entire life, I’ve experienced the Living Light, though all too often I missed the connection.  Many times I felt an elusive presence, yet never understood its meaning until I discovered, or was led, to my own studies of Zero Point Field Energy.  With an open mind I read the science and studied a broad range of corresponding facts.  Eventually I had to agree with Physicist E. H. Walker’s conclusion that photons might possess a consciousness!  ”Consciousness may be associated with all quantum mechanical processes…”  There are too many undeniable oddities associated with the research to dismiss or ignore the intelligence that is woven into the fabric of creation.  The essence of reality is and has been observed to be orchestrated by an unlimited conscious.  As if the universe were a living entity, particles have been observed to react to an unseen transfer of instructions.

During my lengthy research into Zero Point Field Energy, I often spent long hours pondering the information until one day I had an epiphany, a strange connection with the True Power of the Zero Point Field.  I could say much about this but my journey is incomplete.  Accordingly, I have attempted to integrate a few of my own experiences throughout the adventure.  Although subtle, the disclosure of my own accumulation of knowledge is part of the Zero Point Adventure.  There is a Power, a Living Force, at work in this universe, and I will continue to record my understanding of this Power into my future works.  In “Zero Point – The Independence,” the lessons run deep and true.  Following a path laid out by the discipline of quantum physics, the reader is introduced to forces in the universe that we are just beginning to notice, much less understand.  It is my hope that you delight in the adventure, as the power of the universe is introduced along the way.
